Dogs in protected areas

Bringing Your Dog to a KZN Wildlife Protected Area

We know that dogs are part of the family — and we want to help you plan your visit safely and responsibly. Because of the risk that your dog may pose to our wildlife (by transmitting pathogens to which our wildlife has no resistance) as well as the risk that our wildlife may pose to your dog, Ezemvelo’s policy generally does not allow any pets to accompany their owners to our protected areas
