Geocaching in KZN Wildlife Protected Areas

While geocaching is not specifically permitted or prohibited within Ezemvelo protected areas, we are aware that it takes place and there are many geocaches in our protected areas, especially in the camp areas. Ezemvelo is in the process of considering which protected areas and which zones within those protected areas may be suitable for allowing geocaching. Safety will be the primary consideration guiding these decisions, both for the geocachers and also for the wildlife in the protected area
