Who We Are
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is committed to conserving the province's rich biodiversity while offering world-class ecotourism experiences. As custodians of protected areas, we ensure nature thrives for generations to come. The organisation's journey began with the preservation of the southern white rhino, a symbol of resilience and conservation success, and continues to inspire efforts to protect endangered species across the region.
The Tourism Division is responsible for managing Ezemvelo's ecotourism infrastructure, resort operations, and visitor experiences across KwaZulu-Natal. From mountain chalets in the Drakensberg to coastal lodges at iSimangaliso, the division ensures guests enjoy comfortable, sustainable accommodation while contributing to conservation funding. Tourism revenue is a critical pillar supporting Ezemvelo's conservation mandate.
